Desert and Oasis

Deserts are often pictured in our minds eye as arid inhospitable places, somewhere you'd rather not be. A vast expanse of land and sky that seems to have no end, where one experiences a sense of awe while at the same time feeling insignificant. Yet, there is a still small voice in these landscapes that whispers to those who care to listen.
